Impacts Of Hydrogen Rich Water

Impacts of Hydrogen rich water was evaluated by serving hydrogen water for 8 weeks in experiment. In the result, it was reported 39% increase (p<0.05) in antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD) and a 43% decrease (p< 0.05) in thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) in urine. Further, subjects demonstrated an 8% increase in high density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol and a 13% decrease in total cholesterol/HDL cholesterol from baseline to 4 weeks.

What exactly does this mean?
According to this study, those who drank hydrogen-rich water had much higher levels of antioxidant enzymes and significantly lower levels of acid in their urine. Participants also demonstrated a large rise in HDL, or “good cholesterol,” and a significant drop in LDL, or “bad cholesterol.”
